Art by the Sea is a gallery that specialises in fine and contemporary affordable art.
All our work is New Zealand made with aroha (love) and integrity. They share a special relationship with the artists, as caretakers of their work.

The traditional intimacy of our underground wine cave is brought to contemporary life by the stunning creations of modern New Zealand artists. Strategic lighting unites the timeless elegance of the setting with the vigour and energy of some of our country’s most creative talent. All pieces are for sale.
Members of our exclusive wine club The Inner Circle are invited to preview any new exhibitions, and have the first opportunity to view and/or purchase the newly arrived pieces at their leisure with a glass of our fine wine in hand.

The Lawnmower's Son Art Space can be found at the Homestead (circa 1860) in the heart of Hahei. Nestled under one of the biggest Morton Bay Fig Trees in New Zealand, the gallery showcases some of New Zealand's finest artists.

Through the Timeless Textiles gallery, our shop, workshop programs and projects, we nurture the creative development of artists and artisans, building audiences and promoting the collectability of fibre arts.

My creative workshop and studio gallery in the beautiful market town of Wirksworth! I have set up a permanent display of contemporary art and craft by some of my favourite makers, selecting work I feel is ideal to browse for your homes, offices and your gift giving needs. The studio is home to my glass fusing workshop, where I will teach you to make your own glass art and accessories. Come and explore all things handmade by my selected makers and talk about commissioning something extra special.
Standard shop opening hours are Thurs, Fri and Sat 11am – 4pm
I am often in on other days and am happy to make arrangements for you to visit by appointment, so just get in touch.
