Three hanging cylinders covered with patterns of bark. Bark is a protective surrounding, like that which we surround and protect our children with. Mine have now been released from this protection to find their way in the world, though their places are held here should they have the need to use them again! Once a parent, always a parent.
Created using various steel fabrics and manmade chiffons, burn surfaces and huge amounts of stitching. The longest section is approx. 3.5m, the others shorter, and each are 20cm diameter.
