Alysn concentrates on the beauty of the coast and the water around us. She is also conscious of the waste, often plastic or fishing detritus, washed up on the beaches and rocks and often incorporates these into her art. Alysn’s most recent awards in selected exhibitions include: Mandurah Wearable Art (Australia); ‘Wall Brooches II’, (Australia); and ‘Changing Threads’ Nelson Arts ‘Bernina Award’.
Little and Local Coffee Kitchen, Bar and Bistro offers regular exhibitions for local artists. You can enjoy a coffee whilst you soak in the art. Any purchases can be removed immediately.

The Coffee Kitchen is open daily from 8am to 3pm and the bar and bistro from 8am to 10pm Friday and Saturday, 8am to 9pm Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, 8am to 5pm Monday and Tuesday.
